From Shenzhen to Tibet, OneRobotics Acemate Helps More Children Catch Their First Ball

2026-07-01

Recently, the launch ceremony of the 2026 China Open Charity “Tennis First Lesson” Tibet Program was held at Lhasa Beijing Experimental Middle School.

At the event, OneRobotics donated 10 Acemate tennis robots to schools and related institutions in Tibet through the Tibet Development Charity Foundation. The robots will be used to support local youth tennis training and education.

From Shenzhen to Tibet, OneRobotics hopes to bring Acemate’s intelligent sports capabilities to more schools and more children in distant regions. Technology should not only appear in exhibition halls, product launches, or commercial tennis courts. It can also become a companion for children as they experience tennis for the first time and continue to practice the sport.

Supporting Youth Sports Education Through Technology

Tennis is a sport that requires long-term, repeated practice. For children who are just beginning to learn tennis, what matters most is not a one-time experience, but whether they can consistently receive balls, repeat movements, and gradually build a sense of rhythm and confidence.

The donated Acemate tennis robots will be used in tennis teaching and training scenarios across schools and related institutions in Tibet. Acemate can deliver stable and continuous shots, recognize return trajectories through AI vision, actively move to receive the ball, and complete rally interactions. This helps students practice basic strokes, footwork reactions, and rhythm control.

In June 2026, the Shenzhen Municipal Bureau of Industry and Information Technology officially released the 2026 Shenzhen “Robot+” Application Demonstration Cases, with a total of 48 robot application projects selected. Acemate was recognized in the robot innovation application category for its “AI vision-based autonomous tennis training robot application in smart sports and sports-education integration scenarios.”

For schools and training venues, Acemate can make tennis classes easier to organize. For students, Acemate is like a tireless “AI training partner,” sending the ball again and again while giving them repeated chances to practice.

Once a child catches the first ball, they are more willing to swing again. Once they complete a rally, they are more likely to believe they can do better. Here, technology is no longer a distant concept. It becomes a real and tangible companion by their side.

Bringing AI Tennis Training Into More Everyday Scenarios

OneRobotics has long focused on the real-world application of embodied AI technology. Whether in home services, sports and wellness, or emotional companionship, robotics should ultimately return to real people, real scenarios, and real needs.

As an important product in OneRobotics’ embodied AI sports portfolio, Acemate is designed for high-frequency and real-world training needs. It is not just a ball-feeding machine, but an AI tennis training robot that can recognize ball trajectories, actively move to receive the ball, and complete return shots.

The value of Acemate lies not only in completing stable rallies, but also in bringing AI training capabilities into more children’s daily practice. For students who are experiencing tennis for the first time, this is not only a tennis class, but also a special “AI tennis lesson.”

AI is no longer just a concept in textbooks or a demonstration on a screen. It appears on the court. It can observe, judge, move, and accompany students through rally after rally.

Let the First Ball Become the Beginning of Continued Practice

Xiao Tongting, Secretary-General of the Tibet Development Charity Foundation, said that the donation will further enrich local youth sports training resources, improve the systematic and professional level of tennis training, and help more children experience the joy of sports through scientific training while supporting both physical and mental growth.

She also noted that this charity collaboration has brought new inspiration to sports philanthropy in Tibet, adding more technological relevance and practical value to public welfare support.

Charity is not only about delivering equipment to distant places. More importantly, it is about ensuring that children can truly use it, practice with it, and fall in love with sports.

In the future, OneRobotics will continue to support youth sports education and public welfare initiatives. Acemate will continue to enter more schools, courts, and training scenarios, helping more children discover sports, enjoy sports, and grow through continuous practice.
